The Cost of ULEZ: a £4,500 a year tax on motorists
London’s Labour Mayor, Sadiq Khan, plans to expand ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) to cover the whole of Greater London, including all of Ealing, this summer.
Drivers could pay a £12.50 daily fee to drive within Greater London, including visitors outside the M25.
Could you or a small business afford the £4,500 a year needed to drive to the supermarket or to do deliveries?
Instead of expanding ULEZ the Mayor should invest in electric charging points and improve public transport instead of penalising motorists when the cost of living has increased.
