Statement from the Ealing Conservative Group regarding Perceval House
The Conservative Group Officers met with the Chief Executive and Director of Legal Services of Ealing Council today to express our serious and deep concerns about holding the Planning Committee to hear the Perceval House skyscraper application. Despite presenting a list of serious and fundamental errors in advice and the fact that residents of the Borough were outraged by the way this application has been handled by the Council, it was clear that for political reasons the Council will be pushing ahead with the meeting on Wednesday.
Cllr Gregory Stafford, Leader of the Conservative Group said "This planning application has been dogged by mistakes, misjudgements and incompetence. It is rightly opposed by the vast majority of residents. The Council's refusal to listen to residents and to push ahead with the meeting on the 31st is a further example of how little Ealing Labour and its administration cares about this borough and it's residents"
