Your local Hanger Hill councillors are delighted to have secured a range of new safety measures outside the Church of the Holy Family including a new Zebra Crossing to help children from the Holy Family Primary School cross in safety.
These measures are being introduced to reduce the risk of accidents, especially involving vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists on the adjacent roads and junctions.
We also hope that it will encourage more journeys to be taken by walking and cycling
The works will take place in two phases; phase 1 (the zebra crossing and road hump) will be completed between the first week of December and Christmas, and phase 2 (the raised table east of Monks Drive) is proposed to take place during the February half term.
